It is that time of year – children are writing and rewriting their Santa lists and the adults are starting to think about what nifty gifts they would like to find nestled under the tree on December 25.

Buying for someone who is into their gadgets can be tricky if it is something you are not interested in yourself.

If you are buying for a child, a tech gift or a cool gadget is a great way to encourage their natural curiosity, creativity and innovative thinking.

To help get you started, Horizon Globex has compiled a short list of some of the best gadgets on the market for adults and children.

For the adult gadget lover;

  • Vizio P-Series 4k TV with built-in Chromecast and Google assistant integration allowing viewers to play content using voice command.
  • The Logitech G920 Driving Force is considered to be one of the best gaming racing wheels available, is compatible with XBox One’s and PC’s and looks really great with the stainless steel and hand-stitched leather finish.
  • To Speaker is water resistant and can deliver 360 degree sound.
  • XYZprinting da Vinci Mini 3D printer is a great starter option for those interested in 3D printing, it has a build volume of 6x6x6″ and comes with free 3D maker software.

For the future engineer or curiously-minded child;

  • Anki Cozmo – one of the most impressive robots on the market. It comes in quite pricey at £199.99, but it can recognise faces, play interactively, learn and almost seems like it has its own personality.
  • Kano Computer Kit. This is a pretty cool DIY computer kit, which has been described as being as fun as lego to put together.
  • Sphero Ultimate Lightning McQueen is app enabled, has a speed of 6 MPH and a 30 metre range.
  • Veho Digital Microscope magnifies from 20-400x and has LED’s to light up subjects with a USB connection to link up to a PC or Mac.

Happy shopping.
