Upstream KYC Identity Verification Just Got Even Easier

We’ve updated our KYC process to make it smoother than ever, get verified and start trading on Upstream

Upstream’s Know Your Customer (KYC) process just got an upgrade! Our development team has given the identity verification journey a fresh new look, making it even more intuitive and seamless. While the process remains quick and secure, the updated interface ensures an even smoother experience for traders.

As a regulated marketplace part of MERJ Exchange, KYC identify verification is required to prevent fraud, money laundering, and illicit activity, a step that keeps our trading environment safe. If your account balance reaches $500 or you’re withdrawing funds, you’ll be prompted to complete KYC. Or, you can complete KYC identity verification on Upstream anytime by tapping the profile icon, selecting KYC, and following the steps. 

Verification can take as little as 15 minutes or up to 2 business days, depending on demand. Once approved, you can continue to seamlessly fund, withdraw, and trade. Here’s a look at the new interface:
